The ORU wall shelf in Burned Metal, size M, combines a sculptural design with versatile storage options. When designing the ORU collection, German designer Robin Scholtysik drew inspiration from the Japanese art of origami. Accordingly, clear lines and a delicate appearance define its distinctive look.
The hanging shelf is made of powder-coated steel and creates a striking accent on the wall with its Burned Metal finish. As a standalone shelf beside the bed or sofa, it provides space for books, personal items, or selected decorative pieces. In the kitchen, the shelf can also be used as a practical wall-mounted storage surface.
ORU is designed as a wall-shelf system with three different length configurations. These can be combined as needed to create a customized wall arrangement and additional storage space. This allows the wall shelf to fit into a variety of living areas, either on its own or as part of a larger arrangement. With its distinctive design, it is part of blomus’s functional ORU furniture collection.

Care Instruction:
For steel products, regular cleaning with a cloth moistened with lukewarm water is recommended. We advise only using a dry cloth to clean powder-coated steel. Avoid soaking the products. The use of abrasive or chemical cleaning agents should be avoided, as these can permanently damage the surface. Only use soft cloths for cleaning and maintaining steel. After cleaning, the surface should be thoroughly wiped dry with a cloth.
