Product description
Vase -CEOLA- Colour White Height 25 cm makes a stylish statement with its organically rounded silhouette. Made of ceramic, the vase is suitable for selected flowers or individual branches, presenting them in an upright arrangement thanks to its narrow neck.
The matte, rough-glazed surface gives the 25 cm-high vase a distinctive texture and emphasizes its minimalist design. Small irregularities, slight variations in colour and visible lines define its individual appearance. The colour White blends subtly into a variety of living spaces, allowing floral arrangements to take centre stage.
The design by Frederike Martens draws on the aesthetic of traditional Japanese metal vases and reinterprets it in ceramic. Its clearly defined contour combines a softly rounded body with a narrow opening. CEOLA comprises various shapes and sizes, connected by their characteristic narrow neck and organic design.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
