Product description
Dinner Plate -MAKOTO- in Elephant Skin is a stoneware dinner plate that combines clean geometry with a softly tactile, nature-inspired surface. The matte glaze highlights the understated Elephant Skin hue and gives the plate a calm, modern presence. It creates a simple backdrop for a wide variety of dishes—from everyday lunches to thoughtfully arranged table settings.
A subtle foot lifts the plate slightly above the tabletop and defines its distinctive silhouette. Its pared-back design language keeps the focus on what matters and integrates harmoniously into clearly styled table settings. The dinner plate was designed by Carsten Gollnick.
As part of the MAKOTO collection, the plate reflects the series’ interplay of geometric shapes, matte glazes, and understated feet. It brings the collection’s calm, minimalist aesthetic to the set table.
