Product description
Vase - CEOLA - Color New Wheat - Size 19 cm: This ceramic vase combines a soft color tone with a rounded, organic silhouette. Its slightly rough surface and subtle color variations give the design an expressive, distinctive character. Small irregularities and visible lines may further enhance the characteristic appearance of the ceramic.
Whether styled with individual blooms, a carefully selected floral arrangement, or no floral decoration at all, CEOLA adds a stylish accent to the dining table, sideboard, or windowsill. Its soft, flowing lines allow the vase to look harmonious from different perspectives and make it an appealing standalone decorative object.
The design by Frederike Martens draws on the formal language of traditional Japanese metal vases and reinterprets it in ceramic. The New Wheat color accentuates the understated design and allows it to be integrated effortlessly into a variety of living spaces. The vase belongs to the CEOLA collection and is available in additional colors and sizes.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
