Product description
Teapot with Filter – SABLO – Color Savannah – Capacity 1000 ml combines soft, flowing contours with a distinctive surface. The teapot with strainer is made of stoneware and stainless steel and offers a capacity of 1000 ml. The filter holds loose-leaf tea and functionally complements the pot when brewing and serving.
The subtly speckled look defines its calm appearance in Savannah. Shades of gray and beige, together with the partially glazed surface, add understated accents and give the pot a varied texture. Individual nuances and color variations may make the appearance of each piece unique.
Frederike Martens’ design combines clear contours with a natural aesthetic inspired by sand and flowing water. This allows the teapot to blend harmoniously into a variety of table settings while making the shared enjoyment of tea the stylish focal point. As part of the SABLO series, it incorporates the collection’s signature color palette, speckled look, and partially glazed design.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
