Product description
The ENGAWA side table in Black, size S, brings a clear, minimalist design language to the living space. As a small oak table, it provides a discreet surface next to a sofa, armchair, or bed and, thanks to its pared-down design, harmoniously blends into a variety of interiors.
The piece of furniture was designed by Carsten Gollnick. Its design is inspired by the Japanese design tradition, placing material, form, and function at the center. The black color emphasizes its clean-lined appearance and gives the table a distinctive yet understated presence.
The name ENGAWA also references Japan: It is composed of the characters “En,” meaning relationship, and “gawa,” meaning side. In this way, it refers to the interplay between the piece of furniture, its surroundings, and its use within the space. The side table is part of the ENGAWA series, which includes two side tables, a stool, and a bench.
