Robin Scholtysik’s design draws on the precise formal language of folded paper figures. Thin, powder-coated stainless steel sheets are assembled to create a geometric table body. Cut-out joints, opposing radii, and gently curved intersections add subtle design accents. The black surface emphasizes the distinctive silhouette and makes the structural details stand out clearly.
ORU can be assembled without tools and flexibly integrated into a variety of living spaces. Placed next to seating, the table provides space for selected objects, while beside the bed it can serve as a compact surface. Care Instruction:
The ORU side table is designed exclusively for indoor use. To maintain its quality and longevity, it should be cleaned with care. Aggressive or caustic cleaning agents, as well as steel wool, abrasive sponges, hard brushes, or cleaning pads, must not be used, as they can cause permanent damage to the surface. For proper cleaning, simply wipe the tray with a damp cloth and dry it thoroughly afterward.
