Product description
Vase -CEOLA- Color Tradewinds Height 13 cm combines an organically rounded silhouette with a slightly rough ceramic surface. Its compact form gives the vase a subtle, understated presence while showcasing flowers in style. Subtle color variations lend the surface additional depth and accentuate the distinctive character of the ceramic.
The Tradewinds shade brings a fresh green-blue nuance to the room. The 13 cm-high vase therefore blends harmoniously into modern living spaces and is ideal as a decorative object on the dining table, a sideboard, or a shelf. Even without floral decoration, its clear, softly rounded shape makes an impression.
The design by Frederike Martens draws on the aesthetic of traditional Japanese metal vases and reinterprets it in ceramic. The result is a balanced interplay of calm lines, a distinctive surface, and gentle coloring. The CEOLA series is available in several colors and sizes, which can be combined to create an individual arrangement.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
