The SABLO milk jug in Cloud holds 230 ml and complements the set table with its soft, naturally inspired design. Made of ceramic, the jug combines a lightly speckled finish with subtle grey and beige tones. A partially applied glaze creates a delicate contrast with the more textured surface, making the interplay of different structures both visible and tangible.
Thanks to its understated colour palette, the jug is ideal for serving milk at breakfast, during a coffee break or at tea time. Individual textures, shades and colour variations define the appearance of each piece. This gives the clean design a lively, distinctive character without being overpowering.
Designed by Frederike Martens, the milk jug is dishwasher- and microwave-safe. Its compact size and shaped spout make serving directly at the table simple and convenient. With its combination of soft tones, speckled surface and partial glazing, the jug reflects the distinctive design of the SABLO collection.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.

Our SABLO series is made of high-quality stoneware, with different colors that can be beautifully combined with one another.
Stoneware is made from clay, quartz, or minerals such as calcite and belongs to the group of ceramic products. Typical items made from stoneware include plates, bowls, planters, and dishes, which are shaped through a casting process and fired at very high temperatures ranging from about 970 to 1320 degrees Celsius. Thanks to this intense firing process, stoneware is more durable than regular clay and less translucent than porcelain. The final colors are strongly influenced by the firing temperature and duration, giving each piece its own individual structure and unique shading.
Since stoneware is not naturally waterproof, it is usually glazed. This makes it stable, durable, and perfectly suitable for everyday use – as is the case with our SABLO products. However, slight cutlery marks may appear on stoneware items over time. This is not a defect but a completely natural process, as the glaze is fired at a lower temperature than the ceramic body underneath.
Our SABLO tableware is dishwasher safe and can also be used in the microwave.
