Product description
Set of 2 Champagne Coupes - BELO - Color Coffee - Capacity 200 ml: These glass champagne coupes combine a gentle silhouette with an expressive color contrast. The glass bowls are colored throughout in Coffee, while the clear stems create a subtle visual accent. This creates an elegant interplay of warm coloring and transparent details.
With a capacity of 200 ml each, the two champagne coupes are ideal for serving sparkling wine and champagne. The cut and polished rim provides a clean finish to the softly shaped glass bowls. Small irregularities, such as fine flow lines, bubbles, or slight variations in material thickness, may enhance the individual appearance of the glass. As a result, the shade may also vary subtly from one glass to another.
The design was created by Frederike Martens and is characterized by balanced proportions and a minimalist design language. As a set of two, BELO complements a stylishly laid table and reflects the distinctive design of the eponymous glassware collection.

About
Trained as an industrial designer with a particular emphasis on glass and ceramics at the Design School in Halle, Germany, Frederike Martens (born 1987) has a rare talent for pure and strikingly simple shapes, and a preference for colours that will stand the test of time. With her impeccable sense of balance and proportion, Frederike work displays a special sensitivity to how materials work, both alone and together. However, for the young designer the practical usability of any given item is equally important. The Sablo tableware line, comprising 18 distinct items, was her first design project for blomus – and has now been followed up by the Ceola vase.
