Product description
An appealing contrast is created by the matte exterior and the glossy interior glaze. This interplay gives the plate a distinctive look without becoming overbearing. With its 14 cm diameter, it provides the perfect setting for side dishes, pastries, small snacks, or other foods.
Designed by Nina Thöming, the plate is dishwasher-safe and suitable for use in the microwave. This makes it easy to incorporate into a variety of everyday situations. PILAR is available in several colors and impresses as a ceramic collection that combines understated colors, clean design, and a striking contrast of surfaces.

Care Instruction:
Stoneware is made from clay, quartz, or minerals such as calcite and belongs to the group of ceramic products. Typical items made from stoneware include plates, bowls, planters, and dishes, which are shaped through a casting process and fired at very high temperatures ranging from about 970 to 1320 degrees Celsius. Thanks to this intense firing process, stoneware is more durable than regular clay and less translucent than porcelain. The final colors are strongly influenced by the firing temperature and duration, giving each piece its own individual structure and unique shading.
Since stoneware is not naturally waterproof, it is usually glazed. This makes it stable, durable, and perfectly suitable for everyday use – as is the case with our PILAR series. However, slight cutlery marks may appear on stoneware items over time. This is not a defect but a completely natural process, as the glaze is fired at a lower temperature than the ceramic body underneath, allowing subtle traces to develop with use.
Our PILAR tableware is dishwasher safe and can also be used in the microwave.
